VAS works together with health care providers to improve the venous access for their patients. Because of our commitment to the patient our nurse professionals will provide any or all of the following:
- Complete vascular access services to the patients under the facility’s care.
- Onsite training and precepting of their staff in the development of an infusion team.
- Assistance with data gathering, analysis, and policy improvement.
- Staff in-services to improve vascular access care.
- Availability to experts in infusion therapy to answer questions and provide information to staff and patients.
- Offer opportunities for improvement of services to decrease the hospital’s exposure to liability.
